Diva's Half Training: Week #11
It’s week 11 of Diva’s half training and I just want to be able to focus more on my training. As the weeks go by, I’ve notice that I just have more and more to do. I’m currently looking for a new job as a personal trainer, so that takes up a lot of time between traveling and interviews, applying for jobs, the whole nine.
Also, race season and started so I have a race every Sunday until October 11th. I didn’t even realize it until I was getting ready for the 5th Ave Mile. I currently work two jobs at separate gyms and my third job just started back yesterday (we were off for the summer) at a theater company called Dreamstreet, which I’m very excited because that’s one of the fun jobs I have and also, I’m here trying to build my business, my brand and that’s another job in itself.
As much as I have going on right now, I’m just grateful that things are finally looking up for me, I’ve been through a lot least year and I’m just ready to take control of my life and be the person I know I can me.
So last week’s training called for:
Monday: Strength training
Tuesday: Run 5 Miles
Wednesday: Cross training
Thursday: Strength training/speed work
Friday: Run 3 miles
Saturday: Run 10 miles
I actually completed:
Tuesday: 4 Mile Run
Sunday: 1 mile run
(Fastest mile ever)
I’m seriously slacking in my training here, very upset, but I know I’m not lacking because I don’t feel like it, I’m lacking because I’m actually busy and just trying to be a more successful and stronger me.
