Hey November and Fitness Goals!
Happy November folks! Only one month left until 2015 and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Where has the year gone and what have I done with it? Ah, I'll be sure to make these last few weeks worth it.
But let me say congratulations to everyone who ran the TCS NYC Marathon today. Even though I didn't get a chance to go out there myself, I did spend some time watching the coverage on TV and it was amazing. I just make me want to train harder and get out here and run my first marathon already. But I know I need to take it easy because I'm not there yet, but I will be there.
So I've come up with an at home workout that I would like to complete for the entire month of November. I think it's a good mix of a full body workout and I would like to try it out for now. Maybe everyday or every other day and in the days in between I'll go running and cycling at the gym or maybe a different form of training, something to hit beast mode!
Is this too much? It could be. I plan to repeat this two to three times as a workout. I gave it a shot last week just to see if I could handle it and it wasn't too bad. I felt like I wanted to go to sleep right after which usually is a sign that a workout was good.
So this is my goal for the month as well as looking to become faster and PR of course in order to do that I have to train differently, speed work, hills, you know the good stuff that encompasses one in becoming a great runner.
