Weigh-In Wednesday folks! Yes I have now decided to switch the day and do my weigh-ins on a Wednesday instead of Thursdays.
After my week of “unclean” eating after the Brooklyn Half, I had trouble getting back into the groove of working out and eating healthy. But I found my way, went grocery shopping and started over in my journey.
At a point I was 173lbs. When I ran I was 175lbs. After the race and my mishap I was balancing between 180 lbs– 182lbs. I couldn’t believe it because I felt as if I let my hard work go down the drain. And that’s when I realized I had to make a change.
Since the beginning of June I took charge and got back on track. No mess, no nonsense, seeing as I had another race to run in June. I’m looking run my personal best and I hope I can do that.
Let’s get to it….
I’m now back to 177lbs! Very happy and satisfied. I went to the doctor on Saturday and the nurse told me I was 173lbs according to her scale. I’m not really sure which weight is correct, but I can only follow the one I have at home, so I’m just going to say I’m 177lbs.
It’s 4 days until the Queens 10K and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m getting my playlist together because I need to have music when I run. Finding an hour worth of music shouldn’t be hard right? Yea, I know.
