One of the foods I love to eat is…


Shrimp. Yes, shrimp. It’s very quick and easy to make and the cleanup is a breeze. Most of the time I will have a shrimp salad, which is usually after I’ve come home at 8 or 9PM and just need something quick to eat and cannot be bothered with the long drown out process of cooking a five-star meal, ha.
In my neighborhood, there isn’t a place to get fresh shrimp so because of that I end up picking up a frozen bag at target (Market Pantry brand.) The nutritional facts are as followed: 

Calories: 180 for 3oz. (9 shrimp)
Total Fat: 3.6g
Cholesterol: 306mg
Sodium: 828mg
Protein: 37.8g
Vitamin A: 7.2%
Vitamin C: 7.2%
Calcium: 10.8%
Iron: 18% 

*keep in mind the above values are for 9 shrimp and everything that isn’t listed has a value of 0.


I love to eat shrimp and sea food in general, it's better than eating red meat most of the time and I am usually in the mood for it. Saturday seems like a perfect day for shrimp.
